How do I create an account?

To create an account, click on the 'Register' link at the top of the page and fill out the required information.

If you have forgotten your password, click on the 'Forgot Password?' link on the login page and follow the instructions to reset it.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account, go to the 'Account' page and click the delete button. You will recieve an email with a confirmation.

How is false shiny data handled or corrected?

We gave certain measures to deal with fake information. If anyone sees something that is suspicious, they can submit a support ticket and it will be investigated to the best of our ability. Depending on the situation we may correct the data or softban the character.

What is a softban?

A softban is a status that can be put on a character by PokeMMO Zone staff. A softban will remove the character from all leaderboards, but the user will still be able to log in and use the website.

What should I do if my character has been softbanned?

When a character is softbanned, the owner of the character will recieve an email with the reason. They should make a support ticket in the Discord to resolve the softban with PokeMMO Zone staff.

How do I create a character?

To create a character, go to the 'Character' page and click on 'Create Character'. Fill out the required information and submit.

How do I join a team?

To join a team, go to the 'Team' page and apply to the team with a character. Staff of the team will need to approve you.

To create a team, go to the 'Create Team' page, fill out the required information, and submit your request. An admin will review your request as soon as possible.

What should I do if my team creation request is denied?

If your team creation request is denied, you will receive an email with the reason for the denial. You can correct any issues and resubmit your request. You can also open a support ticket to address any issues.

How do I invite members to my team?

To invite members to your team, go to the 'My Teams' page, click on 'Invite Character', and enter the character's name.

How do I view my team members?

To view your team members, go to the 'My Teams' page and click on your team name.

How do I leave a team?

To leave a team, go to the 'My Teams' page and click on 'Leave Team'.

How do I view my shiny Pokémon?

To view your shiny Pokémon, go to the 'Character' page for the character with the shiny Pokémon.

How do I add/edit/delete a shiny Pokémon?

To add a shiny Pokémon, go to the 'Character' page for the character and it can be added/edited/deleted there.

How do I view the leaderboards?

To view the leaderboards, go to the 'Leaderboards' page.

Why do we have to register with an email?/Why not authenticate with Discord or something else?

Originally we considered making the website so that people would have to login with Discord. The reason this was not done is that not everyone has discord and it is even banned in some contries. Everyone needs an email to play PokeMMO so our logic is that everyone will be able to make an account with an email.

Why can't we upload screenshots for XXX?/Why can't we put a profile picture for xxx?

There are theorectical limits to the amount of files that can be uploaded to the website, as well as security considerations to consider. There is also a moderation aspect where we wouldn't want inappropriate images on the website. These are things that the PokeMMO Zone team does not want to address at this time in favor of working on other features.

Why can't we send messages to other people on the website?

Having messaging or other social features on the website requires an amount of moderation that the PokeMMO Zone staff is not prepared to handle.
